In the world of cinema, remake is a dirty word. Remaking a beloved horror classic is nothing short of sacrilege. Anyone who does so is evil incarnate. Unless the original isn’t that well known, people aren’t really going to get behind a remake. In my opinion there are some good remakes. They may not always be as good as their source material, but do we need it to be? Is there any point in getting mad if a movie is remade? Why should there be? It won’t stop them. Watch or don’t watch, it’s your choice.
