Granted, most horror involves some kind of crime; slasher villains aren’t exactly law abiding citizens. But sticking with the inclusion of thrillers and the like, I thought this would be apropos as a category. After all, The Silence of the Lambs (1991), Se7en (1995) and Oldboy (2003) are frequently mentioned within horror discussions. They definitely bridge the gap between crime and horror.
