Born Kevin Norwood Bacon in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Notable works include: Friday the 13th (1980), Tremors (1990) and Stir of Echoes (1999).
Bacon got his start in the 1978 comedy National Lampoon’s Animal House. He would go on to appear in 8 horror movies, including the hugely successful low-budget Friday the 13th.
Fun fact: Kevin is the reason we have the delightful game “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.” Because of his varied career and high number of ensemble movie roles, he can be linked to almost anyone. Even Elvis.
