Cartwright’s foray into horror began at the age of 12 when she appeared in Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds. She also appeared in two episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents and an episode of The Twilight Zone. She followed this up with 10 more horror outings starting with the first of many Invasion of the Body Snatchers remakes and the first instalment in the Alien franchise.
Fun fact: Veronica was born in England but moved to Los Angeles when she was three years old.
